Lovers might die in these summertime nights Cuts on my spine from these butterfly knives I rump-a-bum-bum when I humbug songs Come tear my tongue out what if I run? Some call me sire Some call me liar Some search for zion Some search for lions Covered in my pride Color in my lines Make me more colorful What if I shine? Yeah Noose hung by a lovers knot Does she love me, love me not? Chum scrubber Mo’ fucker Burnt rubber Come simmer on my cold shoulder Low loner Lone stoner Bram Stoker Bites on my neck, slice on my wrist No ice on my neck, no ice on my wrist No hiding again when you lie with the fish No hiding again with the sights with the clip Bang Lovers survive in their cumbersome lives Under my spine where the butterflies fly Purples and violets circle in silence Permanent violence churning my eyelids Inside out With my insides out Windpipe drought Ever since I drowned Kiss my mouth with your bittersweet lips Downward Spiral - inner weakness Starving artist, better eat this Carving hearts to better see his Triple my part when let em see six Ride on my wave but I think I’m seasick Seem sick when I see secrets Seamstress seams when I seem stressed Regress Seas set to the deep end Ready for the deep end Treading thru the seasons Really, who needs friends?

I don’t have no heroes I am my own pharaoh Don’t believe in tarot See if I can care at all Sipping on a spliff again Drifting out of innocence Feeling like I’m infinite Living in that infrared Feeling dead Killing just to live again Sip until my livers end Under tongue’s my medicine Uppercut a pessimist Uberman in peasant skin Lose my head and thread again Loose leaf said I’m meddling Bruised in bed on sedatives To embed the revidents My beauty’s set to revenants Ozing blood from heaven’s lip Excuse me I’m just devilish Ever since The Exorcist My head will spin forever, bitch Everyday I wish for death Extra space for fetishes It’s my medicine My medicine It’s my medicine My medicine Gimme my medicine Gimme my medicine Gimme my medicine Gimme, gimme my medicine I don't have no loved ones I am full of fuck ups Full of dread like Rastas Pull your head off first, huh Pool of hidden chakras Foolish with the monsters In Cali with my Shastas Rest in Peace to Pop Smoke Fuck off with that peace sign Somber life so dream-like Blood on me, no east side Full of Fables, Aesop Fool to fable, asap Days seem so much longer Praying to that ALLAH Arm, leg, leg, arm, head Armed with lead, off with their head then Witches like Suspiria Switching up appearances Staring in the mirror again Peering in Disappear with my feelings then Staring at the ceiling fan Listen to My Medicine My medicine It’s my medicine My medicine Gimme my medicine Gimme my medicine Gimme my medicine Gimme, gimme my medicine

about

"27" by Poignant is a two track EP created as a Master Study of the late XXXTentacion and Pop Smoke. Poignant is an artist who pulls from his love of classical literature, hip hop ranging from Memphis legends such as Three 6 Mafia to underground artists like Aesop Rock, and philosophy. "27" is titled after Poignant's age, the cult status death club known as the "27 club", and a tribute to the late XXXTentacion album "17". The album came as a step too far into apathy, depression, and melancholy as Poignant uses his voice in dreary ways to express emotions we all tend to become trapped by.
